If you're a new mom within the first few months of nursing buy disposable (Lansinoh are my favorite). They take in a lot more than any washable ever will. However, I found that after a couple of months (I nursed my son for thirteen months) I leaked so much much less and could put on the washable ones without fear of looking down and finding a soaked shirt. The benefit of washable is that they're softer and more price-effective over the long run. That stated, I favored the Medela ones higher than Avent as a outcome of they have been higher and no more now noticeable underneath clothes. I do personal a couple of pairs of the Advent ones though and they work fine.
